Welcome to Lights of Taylor Avenue

It’s 2023 and we’re taking a little break.

It is with great regret that we here at LOFTA have decided it will not be possible to run our light show this year. 💡

As we are sure people will understand, putting on our display takes alot of time ⏰ and effort 👨‍💻, which we do not feel we can commit too this year, along with our full time jobs 👷‍♂️ and family life in general.

❗️However, this does not mean we will be losing the Christmas spirit ❄️

The house will be as sparkly as we can make it ✨ and for anyone who wants to post a letter to Santa, our North Pole express mailbox 📬 will be running throughout until 20th December so there’s plenty time for Santa 🎅 to reply!

Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed the lights 💡 and supported our charities over the last 3 years 💰. It has been great to meet so many people who love Christmas 🎄 just as much as we do!

Hopefully we will be back just as big, bright and musical for Christmas 2024. 🌟

From all of us at LOFTA, have a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year. ⭐️

Christmas isn’t just a day. It’s a feeling!

Welcome to LIGHTS ON TAYLOR AVENUE. December 2020 was our very first year of creating the Magic of Christmas and we would like to thank you for coming out to celebrate with us!

… there is something about light and music that draws us in, little or large, young or old! That’s where our plan started.

We had over 1000+ individually controllable lights all programmed to upbeat Christmas songs for you all to enjoy. LAST YEAR in 2022 we had over 6000 including our 16ft MEGATREE and Bright Moving Spotlights! We even had you control the show last year and choose what songs you wanted to play, and you did not disappoint, Into the Unknown was a favourite by far, with Carol of the Bells coming second!

We have supported four local charities last over the past two years, Who Cares? Scotland, Stanmore House, Capability Scotland, Shine Youth Music Theatre and Friends4U.

December 2020 – £1,108.98
December 2021 – £1,565.89
December 2022 – £1,096.06

£3,770.93 for local charities!

The above totals have been registered with our Local Authority and passed to the charities. Thank you once again!

If you have any questions or wish to drop us a comment or a message then please do so. We wish you all the best for a healthy and happy 2022!
